PLATTSBURGH WINS MEET WITH MALONE, GOUVERNEUR


Gouverneur's Lincolin Deshawn and Malone's Eric Boyer dive in to start the 100 freestyle event.  The Plattsburgh Hornets swept the three-way meet in Malone on Tuesday:  Plattsburgh beat Malone 50-42 and dropped Gouverneur 55-32.  Malone took second place while downing the Wildcats 51-35.  Larry Harney claimed four wins for Plattsburgh.

Malone's Joseph Tracy and a Plattsburgh competitor are separated by less than a length in the 200 medley relay.

Fierce competition and a close three-way race in the 500 free.
Harney won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles and participated in two winning relays.  For Malone, Sam Moore and Ian Rydgren each claimed firsts in two events.

AUSABLE OUTSWIMS MALONE, GOUVERNEUR IN DOUBLE DUAL


Swimmers from Malone, Gouverneur and AuSable are neck-and-neck in the freestyle.  AuSable Valley swept Gouverneur 58-34 and Malone 53-40 in Section X-VII boys swimming.  Ben Ford and Hank McCormick won three first-place positions.
