IN WINNING SWIM CHAMPIONSHIP |
|

The St. Lawrence Central Lady Larries,
under Coach Katie Brown dominated the
Section X Championships held on Saturday
at SUNY Potsdam. The Larries
topped the field of nine schools with
329 points. Ogdensburg finished a
distant second place with 196, with
Malone third at 160 points. The
Larries finished the regular season
12-0, before capturing the Section X

half-length in the backstroke competition, on the
final day of the regular season in Section X.
St. Lawrence Central beat Potsdam 74-20 on
Friday to complete an unblemished 12-0 season.

A Larries' swimmer in the
breaststroke. Anna Brothers,
Jocelyn Lavigne, Emily Lynch and
Abbey Thompson established a new
Section X record with a powerful
59.77 time in the 200 medley relay.
The record was previously held by
Canton in 1995. Meanwhile
,Lynch won the 200 freestyle, the
100 butterfly and swam on the
winning 400 freestyle relay to lead
the Lady Larries to the win.

Serenity Davis snagged the 100-yard
butterfly and 200 individual medley,
while Kelsey Rimmer captured the 100
