5-1 WITH MAT WIN OVER MALONE |

130-pound weight class.
The Clifton-Fine Eagles won their fifth meet in six league
matchups, defeating Malone 45-21. Evan Popham at 130
pounds and and Devin Moore at 152 captured pins for
Clifton-Fine while Ryan Spinner won a pin for Malone at 130
pounds.

GOUVERNEUR TAKES DOWN
MASSENA IN 57-15 MAT WIN |
|
The newly-built in Massena High
School gymnasium officially opened
with Wednesday night's wrestling
match against Gouverneur.
However, the Wildcats spoiled the
Raiders' "new home" opener with a
57-15 win. The win kept the Wildcats (4-0)
unbeaten in league and still tied with Clifton-Fine
for first place. Gouverneur's Skyler Way
(119), Shane Gould (140), Zach Cummings (160) and
Darren Fuller (215) won by pin. Isaiah Perry won by
pin for Massena at 112 pounds.

MASSENA TOPS MALONE 42-28 WITH FOUR PINS,
3 FORFEITS |

Malone's Sam Holmes (white) tries desperately to

the 140-pound class, Wiley won the
match with a pin at 1:34 of the
first period. Both teams took advantage weight-class matchups to
gain forfeits. In the short meet, the
Massena Red Raiders made quick work of the Malone
Huskies 42-28 to move into third place in the

Clifton-Fine's Devin Moore lifts Massena's
Thomas MaComber and downs him to the mat in the
189-pound class. Moore
won the bout 3-0. The Eagles improved to 6-1
in league, beating the Raiders 45-30.
Pins for Clifton-Fine came from Evan Popham (130),
Jacob Demmon (135), Devin Moore (152), Gary Jessmer
(160) and Cole Tristram (215). Massena pins included
Cody Cook (119), Dan Shirley (125), Zach Wiley (140)

O.F.A. Blue Devils in a 46-28 win at
Ogdensburg. Gouverneur got
pins from Brenden Ward (135), Zach
Cummings (152), Darren Fuller (215)
and Zach Ayen (112) to stay unbeaten
in divisional play at 6-0.

MALONE IN 39-21 MAT VICTORY |

The Blue Devils gained five straight
wins in pulling away for the
victory, including pins by Josh
Heaton (130 pounds), Ben Meuten (152) and Zac
Sweeney (215). Sam Desnoyers (135 pounds) wrestled
to the lone pin of the match for Malone. The
Ogdensburg Blue Devils were able to take advantage
of 12 points in uncontested matches in beating the
Malone Huskies 39-21 at Franklin Academy.
