(Potsdam, Dec.
13) -- The Gouverneur Wildcats
turned back Potsdam's fourth-quarter
comeback, posting a 67-55 win over
the host Sandstoners. The win
boosted the Wildcats to 3-1 in the
Central Division, percentage points
behind the first-place O.F.A. Blue
Devils. Ogdensburg and
Gouverneur will collide on Thursday
at O.F.A. in a battle for the
division's top spot before the
holiday break.
On Monday, Bryan
Jones led the Wildcats with 16
points. Daniel Langevin netted
14, Nate Reddick contributed 12,
while Puke HoChing added 11.
Billy Whispell continued to lead the
Sandstoners with 16 points, while
Billy Howlett added 11.
Gouverneur also won
the JV contest.
