The goal of North Country Sports
Net is to provide a single source for the wide array
of sports teams and programs in the region. We aim to
include as many leagues and teams as possible to
provide the North Country with a single online source
for the positive and informative presentation of local
high school, college, semi-professional, youth and
adult sports programs.
North Country Sports Net would like
to include as many legitimate teams, leagues and
programs as possible in northern New York. Don't see
your team or league here, but would like to? Let us
know! We would be happy to discuss including your
website here, provided that the site is kept
responsibly and up-to-date.

NCSN
Adds New Features For
3rd Year of Sports Coverage
After nearly 100,000 visits in
the past two years, North Country SportsNet began its
third year of Section X and local college coverage in
the 2003-2004 season while sporting with a brand new
look, navigation and features for the 2003-2004 school
year. Our new navigational bar is designed to make it
easier to get directly to Section X high school sports
features. Some of the individual sports have been
further divided into boys and girls sections to
provide greater coverage.
New features this fall include a
link from the front page to the latest available
update on local sports cancellations and
postponements. The "Teams" section will
provide individual information, including the usual
location for athletic events hosted by each school. A
new link has been added to provide more information
about NCSN. And this year, visitors to North Country
SportNet will also see a growing list of available
local sports merchandise, featuring many of
the local teams. Some merchandise will be available
through NCSN, while some goods will be listed with
school contact information for purchases. Other
new features are also planned this fall to add new
interest in your visit.
We are growing to better serve you
and the North Country. Hoping you and yours have a
happy and successful sports year!

North Country SportsNet is an
independent, privately owned and operated sports
website designed to feature northern New York sports
and, more importantly, the hard-working athletes who
entertain us. NCSN primarily focuses on Section X
high school sports and college programs in northern
New York,
as well as Empire Football League semi-pro action.
We
are grateful to the Section X and Section VII offices
and local high school coaches and athletic directors
for their continuing assistance. We also
appreciate and acknowledge the efforts by the local colleges' sports
information departments at SUNY Canton, SUNY Potsdam,
SUNY Plattsburgh, Clarkson and St. Lawrence
universities for their on-site and personal assistance
for photography and information, as well as the
special story materials, press releases, photos and
other assistance that they cordially provide for use
on North Country Sports Net to help promote
the accomplishments of hard-working student athletes
and the individual colleges and universities.
North Country SportsNet presently
does NOT pay for story information or photo
contributions by non-staff, but timely donations of
digital game photos are welcome. Digital photo
contributions must include photographer's name, a
brief description of the action and who is in the
photo, along with brief permission to use photos
and/or photographer's name, and must be E-Mailed to ncsportsnet@aol.com.
NCSN reserves the sole and total right and discretion
for the use or refusal of any and all photos
contributed. Photo credit will be given for
photos which appear on NCSN, unless specifically
requested otherwise by the contributor or
photographer. We do thank you in advance for any assistance
received.
