The Raiders won 25-19, 25-13, 25-14 to win the Section X Class C championship. For Massena: Katelyn Benham 5 service points, 3 aces, 3 kills, 14 assists. Nylah Tillman 7 service points, 1 ace, 1 kill, and an outstanding defensive outing. Kaniehtentha Thompson 4 service points, 2 aces, 8 kills, 4 blocks, 3 assists. Lauren Park 6 service points, 1 ace, 10 kills. Reannon Lazore 13 service points, 5 aces, 3 kills, 3 assists. Adrianna Summers 2 kills. Madden Herne 3 service points, 1 ace, 1 kill. `Jenna Pryce 2 service points and a great defensive effort. For Malone, Cali Lane led with 15 sets, one ace and two digs. Alyvia Roberts netted seven kills, one dig and one block, while Darci Funk contributed four kills, two digs and two blocks.

OGDENSBURG RALLIES IN 4TH & 5TH SETS FOR CLASS B CROWN

Salmon River's Jamma Jacobs (35) fires the ball over the hands of Ogdensburg defender Kaylee Kline (19) to score the seventh straight point in the first set for the Shamrocks.In a nailbiter to the end, Ogdensburg outlasted Salmon River 15-11 in the fifth and deciding set, after splitting the first four sets to win the Section X Class B championship. Salmon River won the opening set 25-18, but OFA answered 25-21. The Shamrocks gained the lead with a 25-17 win, but OFA ralled 25-21, before winning Set #5. Ogdensburg advances to face Chateaugay in the Section X overall semifinals and New York State play.  For O.F.A., Zoee Williams had 9 kills, 3 digs, 4 points, 3 aces – all in set 5 for clutch points. Brooke Barr added 13 points, 5 aces, 8 digs, 4 kills. Abbi Pratt kicked in 15 points, 5 assists, 7 digs. OGDENSBURG 3, POTSDAM 2
The Blue Devils edged Potsdam 3-2 in the other semifinal 18-25, 25-22, 14-25 and 25-20, then in the 15-pont final, squeezed out an 18-16 win. Zoee Williams led the way with 15 kills and 13 digs. Brooklyn Ashley totaled 10 assists, 9 points, 4 aces, 5 digs and 3 kills. Brooke Barr contributed 8 digs, 5 points, 2 aces and 4 kills. Kayden Skelly had 7 kills, while Abby Williams added 11 points

M-w Yellowjackets win class c title over Bears 3-2

MADRID-WADDINGTON 3, CANTON 2
This match went five set with the Yellow Jackets winning 24-26, 25-12, 19-25, 25-22, then winning 15-12 in the final set to win the Section X Class C championship. M-W coach Charlie French told NCSN, “We got behind in the fourth set, but came back to win it. The final fifth set was close as we were tied at seven. We won by only three points. Kaitlyn Putman, Kieanna Webb, Abigail Burwell, Baylie Skinner, Courtney Ingraham, Madyson VanGorden, Ravyn Ordway, Logan Carr and Emmah Manson all contributed.”  (Cody Jenne photo)

(#2) canton advances past (#3) tupper lake with 3-1 win

Canton's Zoey Zebedee (5) and Tupper Lake's Addison Brown (16) both make contact with the ball just over the net that saw The Lumberjacks receive the point midway through the second set in  the Section X Class C semifinals.  The Lumberjacks won the first set 28-26, but Canton won three straight, 25-23, 25-22 and 25-18.  Elle White led the Bears with 14 kills, seven blocks, one assist, 11 service points and four aces. In the New York State Class D regional semifinal, Chateaugay took the match in straight sets 25-14, 25-4 and 25-14.  For the Bulldogs, Vanessa Titus - 23 kills, 1 block, 3 points, 1 ace.  Torie Patterson - 3 kills, 30 assists, 22 points, 6 aces. Sophie Converse - 4 kills, 8 points. Lexis Sutton - 5 kills, 2 blocks, 5 points, 1 ace.  Hailey Reome - 12 points, 5 aces.
